Hey everyone, new article for this week that we can discuss.. So it seems that there are 15 States in the United States that requires you to earn at least $70000 per year to make ends meet. I have the link to this article above, just in case you wanted to go back to read it so we can have a discussion here. Some of the States on this list are New York , Massachusetts, California, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington and a bunch of others.
I was really surprised to see new States on this list that I originally would not have pegged to be high cost living areas.
For example Alaska, or Rhode Island, what about Vermont. But what this tells me is that even the places where we traditionally thought were to be secluded and looted and with a low population still has an increased cost of living.
It lets me know that inflation really is impacting everyone from everywhere.. Even if you are in a low cost of living state, you can probably agree that you have seen the cost of your bills and groceries and even your extra spending trispending, 20% or more higher.
Let's share some tips with each other on how we can lower some cost so that we can survive this high inflationary. By inflationary. Especially if we live in one of these high cost of living States and we make under the 70000 dolthree $1000 wage.
Some of the things that I do is to keep utilities off when they're not in use, comma I try to stop shop sales and coupons puns when I see items in the newspaper, I've been using special promotions and clearance sales to put away gifts for Christmas. I even stock up on Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner type of items like sugar, flower, rice and other pantry staples just so that we can stay ahead a bit .
What do you guys do to keep costs low especially if you live in a high cost of living area?
